The FN SCAR (Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a next generation modular assault rifle that has the unique ability to change from 5.56mm rounds, to 7.62mm rounds. This ability offers the soldiers on the field a wider scope of operations, as they are able to use either ammunition on the battlefield depending on their mission objectives.

Listed as the SCAR-L (light, 5.56mm), and the SCAR-H (heavy, 7.62mm), the SCAR is both a versatile and deadly new addition to the arsenal of the United States military. Along with the ability to use the two different rounds, another feature that seperates the SCAR from most other rifles is it's stock. The SCAR stock has not only the ability to extend/collapse like a regular M4's stock, but also to fold alongside the weapon for CQB in tight areas.
